Ben Carson (think the book and movie "Gifted Hands") was featured in Maryville University's Speakers Series this year. He visited the university campus on November 30th and gave a gripping lecture on his rise from poverty and poor life circumstances to become one of the most well known neurosurgeons of his time. Enjoy just a few images from the lecture!

It has been awhile since I have blogged - I need to catch up!! Little Mackenzie's photo shoot took place last month - and what a little cutie she is!!! She was shy and didn't want to "pose" for the camera, so we ended up just playing on the playground and catching a few photo ops along the way! Enjoy this little sweetheart!

I traveled to O'Fallon, Illinois this past weekend to photograph the Reis family (along with their precious great dane, Olive!). The family was great - and the kids were so much fun! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful November day - the weather was almost 70 degrees and sunny! What a wonderful day to take some fall photos :)

Butler's Pantry has a really fun staff so it was no surprise that it was a lot of fun to get to shoot their new head shots for their website! I got to shoot in all natural light, which is my absolute favorite. I'll post a few for you to see - my models were great! :)

Caeden is one of the most adorable little guys I have ever met!! He is so photogenic and his smile will melt your heart. I absolutely loved this shoot! We went to Laumier Sculpture Park where Caeden could show off his new walking skills and try to climb on some of the sculptures. Enjoy a few images from the shoot from this beautiful October day.

Katie asked me to come shoot the "getting ready" portion of her wedding day. I was delighted! Her mother-in-law made her dress, which was beautiful and the energy in anticipation for the wedding was terrific! Enjoy a few images from their special day.

The Missouri History Museum hosts so many beautiful events - weddings, galas, corporate meetings, fundraisers... and their catering staff does such a fantastic job! I recently photographed a fundraiser held at the museum... and it took every bit of self control I had to not sit down at one of the tables and start eating the incredible looking entrees!

Butler's Pantry, a full service catering company in St. Louis, MO, has asked me to shoot some of the items on their new fall menu. The food they prepare is absolutely delicious and their presentation is to die for! www.butlerspantry.com.
