Ben Carson (think the book and movie "Gifted Hands") was featured in Maryville University's Speakers Series this year. He visited the university campus on November 30th and gave a gripping lecture on his rise from poverty and poor life circumstances to become one of the most well known neurosurgeons of his time. It has been awhile since I have blogged - I need to catch up!! Little Mackenzie's photo shoot took place last month - and what a little cutie she is!!! She was shy and didn't want to "pose" for the camera, so we ended up just playing on the playground and catching a few photo ops along the way! Enjoy this little sweetheart!
